SK Telecom announced on the 10th that it has launched 'Metatron Grandview,' a cloud-based facility management solution, in collaboration with Vistel, a factory automation solution company.

Metatron Grandview is a solution built on SK Telecom's 'Metatron'. It collects various data, such as rotational speed, vibration, and current, through sensors attached to key equipment within the factory, and uses this to predict the current status of the equipment and when maintenance is required in real time, displaying the results on the screen.

SK Telecom announced that in a preliminary verification of Metatron Grandview targeting general manufacturing companies, effects such as extending the lifespan of equipment and key components by more than 20% through AI-based predictive maintenance functions and reducing costs by an average of 15% through improved equipment productivity and optimization of equipment maintenance were demonstrated.

Metatron Grandview is a cloud-based solution that allows for affordable and convenient expansion of facilities or factories without the need for separate physical servers, and supports regular management by expert personnel, making maintenance easy.

Existing facility management solutions used in the manufacturing industry have drawbacks, such as requiring massive implementation and maintenance costs and lacking scalability when expanding facilities. In contrast, Metatron Grandview has overcome these issues by utilizing cloud technology and AI.
