u-blox SARA R410M 73B module optimized for IoT applications

u-blox's SARA R410M 73B module has been certified for SK Telecom's LTE M network.
The module supports a wide range of IoT applications, including smart metering, telematics, asset and vehicle tracking, security systems, building automation, smart lighting solutions, and connected health.

It also features an immutable, product-specific root of trust (RoT), making it ideal for core IoT solutions, providing the foundation for implementing devices with trusted, advanced security features.

u-blox has always prioritized security in the design of its wireless communication and positioning modules, and the SARA R410M 73B is the first commercial module from u-blox to feature device and data security features utilizing its patented technology.

“We deliver best-in-class data encryption and decryption capabilities through a scalable, pre-shared key management system,” said Patty Felts, Product Manager, Mobile, u-blox. “Not only can we run it on-device, but we also support the latest (D)TLS stack and cryptographic suites in hardware-based cryptography.”“It enables efficient and secure communication when used with the fire acceleration function,” he said.


Secure location tracking anytime, anywhere
u-blox's CellLocate cellular positioning technology uses mobile network information in the vicinity of a device to track location on its own or in combination with GNSS positioning data to provide enhanced location information.

Users can continuously upgrade their solutions to keep pace with technological advancements through uFOTA (Firmware Over The Air) client/server firmware updates utilizing LWM2M, a compact protocol optimized for IoT applications.

LWM2M's dynamic loading object capabilities allow you to create and add custom objects and resources to devices already on the market, and its production in an ISO/TS 16949 certified facility makes it ideal for industrial applications with an operating temperature range of -40 to +85 degrees Celsius.
