Tencent Cloud IoT and STMicroelectronics announced on the 7th at the Tencent Cloud IoT Ecosystem Summit 2019 that they are collaborating on Tencent's latest IoT operating system, TencentOS Tiny LoRaWAN.

Through this collaboration, by running TencentOS Tiny LoRaWAN on the STM32 LoRaWAN software extension package, it is now possible to easily and seamlessly access one-stop software solutions on the Tencent Cloud IoT Explorer platform to rapidly bring large-scale IoT applications to market.

Tencent OS Tiny is a micro open-source IoT embedded operating system (OS). Tencent has unveiled the new TencentOS Tiny LoRaWAN by expanding the TencentOS Tiny family of products to simplify migration to LoRaWAN and enable Chinese IoT developers to shorten time-to-market.

This solution is provided through ST’s STM32 LoRaWAN software extension package, which includes STM32 MCU software and the latest wireless firmware update (Firmware Update Over The Air; FUOTA) capabilities.

Through this collaboration between Tencent and ST, developers can now develop LoRaWAN and FUOTA nodes based on STM32 products. Additionally, they can easily access all essential software components verified by Tencent Cloud IoT Explorer in a secure and efficient manner, thereby further enhancing the convenience and productivity of Chinese developers and customers.
