Dell Technologies Korea and Corestone opened the 'Dell Technologies-Corestone PoC Center' on the 15th at Corestone's Munjeong-dong office in Songpa-gu, Seoul, where concept verification and testing for building a modern data center can be conducted.

The Dell Technologies-Corestone PoC Center supports customers planning to purchase solutions in conducting the necessary PoC (Proof-of-Concept) and testing for their projects based on their own scenarios within Dell Technologies' IT infrastructure solution environment.

Corestone's solution experts support proof-of-concept, allowing customers who have never used Dell Technologies solutions to experience them, broaden their understanding of technology and development, and improve the completeness of their projects.

Companies considering adopting a hybrid cloud to enhance business agility can test various workloads in an automated virtual lab environment. Not only key system performance metrics such as CPU speed and IOPS (Input/Output Operations Per Second), but also various functions including data backup, replication, deduplication, encryption, and decryption can be demonstrated or verified.

In particular, you can test VMware solutions up to application deployment in an environment featuring a 96-core CPU, 2TB of memory, 170TB of storage, and a 10GbE network. The tests are conducted in the console room with the support of CoreStone experts.

The PoC Center is equipped with all of Dell Technologies' major IT infrastructure solutions, including servers, networks, storage, NAS and object storage, backup appliances, and virtualization hypervisors.

It includes mid-range storage 'Dell EMC Unity', cloud-optimized object storage 'ECS', scale-out NAS storage 'Isilon', data protection appliance 'IDPA DP 4400', and modular server 'PowerEdge MX', and the interoperability between these solutions can also be verified.
