CyberLink FaceMe AI facial recognition engine
It is integrated into Vivotek network cameras.


CyberLink, an AI facial recognition company, announced on the 17th that it signed a strategic partnership with Vivotek, an IP video security solution company, on the 16th.

This enables CyberLink's FaceMe AI facial recognition engine to be integrated into Vivotek's network cameras and backend video management software. Security administrators will be able to receive accurate facial recognition alerts based on blacklists and whitelists.

CyberLink FaceMe, powered by deep learning and neural network algorithms, ranked 12th among the companies participating in the Face Recognition Vendor Test (FRVT) conducted by the U.S. National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) in the FRVT 1:1 (WILD 1E-4) category.

NIST’s FRVT WILD 1E-4 dataset consists of faces extracted from video surveillance camera footage or photos, and tests are conducted based on real-world situations, such as various capture angles, poor lighting, or partially obscured faces. This is a test that uses these images to simulate real-world use cases required for a system to accurately identify individuals across various settings.
