As panel prices from China decline, the Korean display industry is seeking a path toward specialized products.

Samsung Electronics announced on the 10th that it will participate in 'ISE (Integrated Systems Europe) 2020', the largest display exhibition in Europe, held in Amsterdam, the Netherlands from the 11th to the 14th (local time), and unveil a number of new commercial display products.


2020 QLED 8K Signage Unveiled
Samsung Electronics will unveil its 2020 QLED 8K signage for the first time at ISE 2020. It is the first signage to use an 8K panel and is durable enough to be used 24/7.

It also provides a '4-PBP (Picture By Picture)' function that divides the screen into four parts and allows you to play four different 4K contents simultaneously.

The 2020 QLED 8K signage supports DICOM (Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine) simulation mode and accurately displays medical digital images such as CT and MRI, making it useful in hospital laboratories and seminar rooms.

The 2020 QLED 8K Signage will be available in four sizes: 65, 75, 82, and 98 inches, and is scheduled to be released globally within the first half of this year.


The Wall Expands Commercial Lineup
The Wall, which uses micro LED technology, is a modular display with no restrictions on bezel, size, screen ratio, or resolution.

The bezel-less 'Infinity' design is suitable for buildings, hotel lobbies, large conference rooms, design labs, etc.

Samsung Electronics has expanded its lineup to include not only the 219 and 292-inch models unveiled at CES this year, but also the 437 and 583-inch models, allowing products to be installed according to various usage environments and purposes. We have expanded the range of customer choices.

Flip2, Building a Smart Work Environment, Joins Forces with Cisco WebEx
At ISE 2020, Samsung Electronics unveiled the Samsung Flip 2, a digital flipchart with upgraded functionality and design. Featuring a touchscreen with handwriting recognition technology, the Flip delivers a handwriting experience similar to writing on real paper.

This new product features a memo layer on the screen, allowing users to freely write and erase notes. It can be connected to various IT devices, such as laptops, PCs, and smartphones, via USB, HDMI, NFC, and screen mirroring, and meeting results can be shared in real time via email and USB.

Samsung Electronics is also partnering with Cisco to launch 'Webex on Flip', which features the UX of Cisco's online and video conferencing collaboration solution, 'Webex'.

WebEx on Flip provides not only video and audio calls, but also WebEx online meetings and simultaneous annotation by meeting participants via Samsung Flip. You can use Samsung Flip to conduct online video conferences with any conference room equipped with Cisco WebEx, and share meeting results in real time.

At this year's ISE, Samsung and Cisco will hold a joint media event and begin full-scale sales of WebEx on Flip.
