Support for autonomous design and implementation of growth projects for each company
Attracted a total of 120.7 billion won in new investment last year


The Ministry of Science and ICT announced on the 10th that it will be recruiting companies for the 'SW High Growth Club 200' project, which supports the growth of software venture small and medium-sized enterprises, from February 12th to March 12th.

High-growth companies are companies expected to achieve high growth, with an average annual employment rate or sales growth rate of 20% or more over the next three years, according to OECD standards.

The SW High Growth Club 200 is a project that discovers 200 software companies that are high-growth companies or on the path to becoming high-growth companies (150 potential high-growth companies and 50 high-growth companies) and provides intensive support in marketing, overseas expansion, growth strategy mentoring, and technology development. It was first implemented in 2019 and has supported 60 companies.

As in 2019, this year we plan to select and support an additional 50 high-growth companies and 11 high-growth companies that possess new digital technologies related to the Fourth Industrial Revolution, such as AI, cloud, and blockchain.

High-growth companies selected in recognition of their growth potential, innovative business content, and global orientation will receive up to KRW 100 million per year for prospective high-growth companies and up to KRW 300 million per year for high-growth companies for up to two years, allowing them to autonomously design and implement growth tasks such as marketing and product globalization with the help of professional mentors.

In addition, we provide various close mentoring services, including networking with large corporations and investors, and leadership coaching, through professional mentors and support organizations such as the National IT Industry Promotion Agency (NIPA).

Among the selected companies, five potential high-growth companies and three high-growth companies with a recognized need for innovative technology development will be separately selected and will receive KRW 150 million and KRW 400 million, respectively, for technology development costs over two years.

In addition, companies with excellent business evaluation results will be eligible to participate in the 'SW GO Festival' and 'SW GO Round' held during SW Week in December, as well as receive additional benefits such as 1:1 meetings with domestic and international investors.

The 60 companies selected for the SW High Growth Club 200 last year increased their sales by 28% and employment by 207% compared to the previous year through their own efforts and customized support. Of these, 21 companies attracted a total of 120.7 billion won in new investment.

In particular, Laon People succeeded in listing on the KOSDAQ market, and Suarab achieved the feat of being acquired by the American company Cognex for 230 billion won.
