Altera Hosts Technology Roadshow 2011 in 13 Asian Cities

Hong Kong, August 1, 2011 — Overview: Altera® Corporation announced that, in collaboration with distributors, it will host free technical seminars in 13 cities across the Asia-Pacific region from August to November 2011. The seminars are scheduled to be held in China, Korea, Malaysia, Taiwan, and India.

Through these seminars, attendees can learn how to optimize solutions using Altera’s 28nm device portfolio, including Stratix® V, Arria® V, and Cyclone® V FPGAs, to meet power, performance, and cost requirements.

Altera plans to introduce to attendees, through a presentation, how to take their FPGA designs to the next level using Qsys, the next-generation SOPC Builder. Attendees can also learn about the updated features of Quartus® II.

Features include new Qsys system integration tools, expanded support for new devices, and faster board development through enhanced debug solutions.
