Sunkyong Ecotech Develops Waste Collection Collaboration System
Continuous Monitoring and Processing of Uncollected Waste Locations by Region

With a single search, users can identify municipal waste collection schedules and effectively manage uncollected waste that is abandoned or becomes subject to civil complaints.
Sunkyong Ecotech developed a system that collects location information of collection and transport vehicles through a server, separately stores the municipal waste collection schedules for the relevant region, and saves this data subdivided for each area. Using this system, responsible personnel can identify collection schedules with a single search and process tasks within a short timeframe.

Additionally, the system provides more reliable environmental services by continuously monitoring and managing waste locations. When uncollected or abandoned municipal waste locations are transmitted to the server by responsible area employees through equipment installed in each vehicle, the civil complaint handling team verifies and processes this information.

Kim Ki-yong, CEO of Sunkyong Ecotech, stated, "Currently, we are utilizing this system in four regions including Hasung, Tongjin, Daegot, and Wolgot," and added, "We expect this will help reduce civil complaints by identifying locations of abandoned waste and processing tasks organically."

Sunkyong Ecotech plans to conduct trial service beginning in March, monitor for one year, and commence official operations starting in 2021.

Starting with SRF (Solid Recovered Fuel business) in 2005, Sunkyong Ecotech is registered as a member of the Korea Circular Resources Association and in 2015 became the first company in the environmental machinery field to establish an automated SRF production facility line that replaces manpower through an environmental recycling automation facility project. Expanding its business scope beyond expertise as an SRF forming company to include automatic control system design.
