Infineon Technologies and GMO GlobalSign provide device registration services for Microsoft's Azure IoT Hub and IoT Hub Device Provisioning services.

It provides ease of integrating complex device IDs as well as a proven path for IoT device security from chip to cloud.

The core of this solution is the cross-signing of the WebTrust-evaluated GlobalSign CA and the Infineon on-press CA. This enhances the trustworthiness of certificates issued by Infineon and stored in their respective OPTIGA TPM SLM 9670s, while also enabling verification of the GlobalSign Root CA.

Through trusted assurance certification, each Infineon TPM can be connected to the IoT edge enrollment service on GlobalSign's IoT ID platform at any time during its lifecycle. Furthermore, you can seamlessly register with Azure with a verifiable ID and security reliability.

Adding cross-signed TPMs to the supply chain provides the possibility to link secure device IDs with device manufacturing information, thereby strengthening device IDs and authentication while extending reliability of the device lifecycle to any stage across the ecosystem.

Azure IoT Hub provides a cloud-hosted solution backend that can connect to most devices and enables reliable communication between IoT applications and managed devices.
