Enterprises can provide virtual infrastructure accelerated by on-premises NVIDIA GPUs through vGPU software licenses. Employees can work and collaborate from anywhere, regardless of location.

In addition, companies can temporarily repurpose NVIDIA GPUs used for other projects to support remote work.

NVIDIA provides diverse and customized vGPU software. The products being expanded this time include all three of NVIDIA's vGPU software.

First, NVIDIA GRID virtualizes systems and applications to provide responsive VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure).

The following NVIDIA Quadro Virtual Data Center Workstation (Quadro vDWS) provides workstation-level performance to creators using high-end graphics applications.

Finally, NVIDIA Virtual Compute Server (vComputeServer) accelerates server virtualization through GPUs to run compute-intensive workflows such as AI, deep learning, and data science on virtual machines (VMs).

NVIDIA vGPU software provides superior performance for remote workers and reduces latency, while also protecting sensitive data and digital assets stored in data centers that are not stored on local client devices.

In addition, it is certified across an extensive ecosystem of hypervisors, platforms, user applications, and management software, helping IT teams expand support for remote workers.

Enterprises can deploy virtual workstations, computing, and VDI from on-premises data centers by installing vGPU software licenses on all NVIDIA GPUs based on Pascal, Volta, and Turing architectures, including NVIDIA Quadro RTX 6000 and RTX 8000 GPUs and NVIDIA M10 and M60 GPUs.

Meanwhile, NVIDIA has provided sequencing analysis software to genome researchers studying COVID-19 that accelerates sequence data analysis by up to 50 times using GPUsParabricks is being offered for free for 90 days.
