As the need for in-hospital monitoring grows amid the COVID-19 pandemic, a domestic AI company is launching AI-based real-time monitoring solution validation with one of the top four hospitals in the United States.

AITRICS announced on the 30th that it will jointly conduct validation of 'VitalCare,' an AI solution that predicts critical in-hospital mortality events, with Cleveland Clinic in the U.S.

VitalCare is an AI-based platform that reduces patient mortality by timely detecting and addressing potential risk factors in various hospital environments through real-time monitoring of patients' electronic medical records (EMR).

AITRICS will utilize data held by Cleveland Clinic to validate the accuracy of VitalCare and advance the model, with goals including patient management within the golden hour through the solution and optimization of hospital resource utilization.

Based on Cleveland Clinic's clinical data, AITRICS will conduct validation of its AI model and plans to sequentially expand predictive diseases and modalities.

Additionally, AITRICS plans to collaborate with Cleveland Clinic and hospitals within Korea as well as other overseas hospitals. Through this, the company plans to develop AI models that account for various factors and build a critical in-hospital mortality prediction solution applicable to patients across multiple countries.
