IBM provides the latest information on COVID-19 through the Weather Channel app, the weather.com website, and online dashboards. Businesses and general users can access this information via smartphones or computers.
The free app running on the IBM Public Cloud uses IBM Watson to analyze COVID-19 data from the WHO and various national, state, and local governments. The plan is to deliver news and information to track COVID-19 by visualizing trends and providing interactive mapping through global data, which is scheduled to be added in the future, as well as data from the United States.
You can check not only hourly data and recent statistics related to COVID-19, but also the latest COVID-19 news and videos provided by the Weather Channel's editorial team. Details such as available public health information, patient education materials, and test center locations will also be added.
The conversational dashboard, based on IBM Watson and Cognos Analytics, is designed to enable users such as data scientists, researchers, and media to deeply analyze and filter local data.
The available global data includes information on confirmed cases and recovered patients in some available regions, and users can drill down into the data at the country, region, state, and county levels to gain insights.
