Ansys announced on the 6th that Ansys® Twin Builder™ won the 'IIoT Solution of the Year' award at the 'IoT Breakthrough Awards'.
The IoT Breakthrough Awards is a program that selects innovative technologies and companies leading innovation in the IoT market. This year, more than 3,700 technologies and companies from around the world were nominated in fields such as industrial and enterprise IoT, smart city technology, home automation, and connected cars.
Ansys Twin Builder, which creates and validates simulation-based digital twins within a single workflow, has been praised for providing users with accurate data on the maintenance status and performance of IoT devices.
Ansys Twin Builder leverages a physics-based virtual replica of a product and an IIoT connectivity platform to combine original collected sensor data, helping engineers analyze equipment and simulate its aging process.
Furthermore, by providing insights into the actual performance of equipment, companies can extend product lifespans, minimize breakdowns, reduce unexpected downtime, and enable timely maintenance or replacement. This supports customers in various sectors, including oil and gas, industrial, energy, automotive, and aerospace, in achieving significant cost savings.
