EDS-2000 Series, Guarantees Stable Ethernet Connection
On the 14th, Moxa launched the 'EDS-2000-EL' and 'EDS-2000-ML' series of industrial unmanaged Ethernet switches.
The two series offer 5 to 18 ports and optional Gigabit combo ports. Additionally, by providing Quality of Service (QoS) and Broadcast Storm Protection (BSP) functions through DIP switches, they enable field engineers to build and expand networks in a plug-and-play manner.
As the number of connectable data points increases, more information can be secured and utilized for operations. Rapid and stable network expansion is crucial for enhancing the operational efficiency of industrial applications. The EDS-2000-EL and EDS-2000-ML series feature a compact design and rich functionality, making them suitable for a wide range of industrial applications.
The EDS-2000-EL series, consisting of the EDS-2005-EL and 2008-EL, is an entry-level unmanaged switch for general automation environments. It is about the size of a credit card, fits into all industrial cabinets, and is equipped with features such as QoS and BSP to ensure a stable Ethernet connection.
The EDS-2000-ML series, consisting of the EDS-2010-ML, 2016-ML, and 2018-ML, is a mainstream-level unmanaged switch for automation environments performing core functions, supporting fast and flexible uplinks through up to two Gigabit combo ports.
High functionality, instant relay alarm, flexible mounting It is designed to ensure reliability in the field, featuring options and dual power inputs, and complies with various industry certifications for application in key industrial markets. Certifications such as IECEx, C1D2, ATEX Zone 2, and DNV GL are scheduled to be supported in the fourth quarter of this year.
