Markbase Receives World's No. 1 IoTps Speed Certification from TPC

Markbase announced on the 20th that its time-series DBMS "Markbase DBMS" has been ranked first twice in TPCx-IoT testing conducted jointly with AMD and has been listed on the official website.
TPC is an internationally accredited organization that tests and evaluates the performance of foundational software and computing equipment such as servers, storage, and DBMS, and oversees benchmarks including TPCx-IoT for performance testing in IoT environments.
On a Supermicro A+ server equipped with AMD CPU, Markbase DBMS recorded real-time IoT data collection/analysis speeds of 2,199,052 IOTps in the first round and 2,480,917 IOTps in the second round. This exceeds the previous record of 1,043,276 IOTps set by Markbase by more than 240%, and represents a figure that exceeds other DBMS by a minimum of 3 times to a maximum of 17 times.
Seong-jin Kim, CEO of Markbase, expressed gratitude to the Korea Information and Communication Technology Association (TTA) for facilitating the collaboration with AMD, stating "Through the performance verified together with TTA and AMD, we will establish our presence in the global smart X market."
Young-hae Choi, Chairman of TTA, said, "To vitalize domestic foundational software and computing equipment industries and open new distribution channels, TTA plans to continue supporting related testing and certification together with the government."
