Cognex Unveils Deep Learning-Based Industrial Smart Camera

Cognex announced on the 23rd that it is launching the 'Cognex In-Sight D900,' an industrial smart camera that provides high precision through deep learning-based inspection.
The In-Sight D900 is a deep learning embedded vision system that integrates the industrial-grade smart camera In-Sight with Cognex ViDi, a deep learning-based image analysis solution designed for deep learning applications.
Equipped with all the necessary functions for vision inspection, it can solve complex problems that may arise during inline inspection, including Optical Character Recognition (OCR), assembly verification, and defect detection.
The Cognex Insight D900 enables training with only a small number of image samples and supports convenient operation using 'Cognex Spreadsheets'. Even workers without expertise in PCs or deep learning can configure settings for inspection.
It can detect abnormalities in complex parts and surfaces, making it suitable for automating complex inspection applications in various industries, including automotive, electronics, packaging, food and beverage, medical equipment, and logistics.
