The 38th KETI Technology Innovation Matchmaking Event

The Korea Electronics Technology Institute (KETI) announced on the 12th that it will hold the 38th KETI-led Digital Technology Innovation Matchmaking event on the 15th.

The Technology Innovation Matchmaking event, held 37 times in collaboration with KETI over the past three years, has become an event that introduces KETI's promising commercialization technologies and allows KETI and companies to communicate together. However, due to the recent spread of COVID-19 and the government's social distancing policy, the event has been postponed this year.

This event, the first online technology transfer briefing session attempted by a public research institute in response to the recent increase in the need for non-face-to-face interaction, was organized around strategic patent technologies applied for by KETI in 2019.

The event will begin with an introduction by KETI President Kim Young-sam on KETI's future direction for corporate cooperation, followed by an introduction of core technologies in KETI's key research areas: advanced materials, embedded AI, intelligent image processing, and smart factories.

KETI President Kim Young-sam said, “Due to the recent COVID-19 situation, opportunities for communication between public research institutes and companies have been limited,” and added, “KETI hopes that this digital matchmaking will serve as an opportunity to promote new forms of corporate cooperation.”

The event will be held on the 15th at 2:00 PM via the event website ( www.keti.re.kr/withKETI ). Videos presented on the day will be released sequentially on the KETI YouTube channel following the event.
