Mouser Supplies NXP NFC NTAG-Supported Bluetooth LE SoC

Mouser Electronics announced on the 28th that it is supplying NXP Semiconductors' QN9090 and QN9030 SoCs. Both intelligent connectivity solutions support Bluetooth 5 LE connectivity and optional NFC NTAG functionality.
The QN9090 and QN9030 are equipped with Arm® Cortex®-M4 processors running at up to 48 MHz. Up to 640 KB of flash and 152 KB of SRAM are embedded on the board, providing storage space and flexibility for complex applications and secure Over-the-Air (OTA) updates.
The two SoCs integrate NFC NTAG functionality to support use cases such as out-of-band pairing. When using an IoT device based on the QN9090T or QN9030T with an NFC reader such as a smartphone or tablet, you can simplify the pairing process by establishing a Bluetooth LE connection.
Embedded NFC tags do not require power supply to the device, which means they provide additional opportunities for diagnostics or device testing at every stage of the device lifecycle, from manufacturing to disposal.
Developers can accelerate the time-to-market for various IoT applications, including healthcare devices, sports and fitness trackers, connected home appliances, building and home automation, toys and gaming peripherals, as well as beacons and mesh networks, using the QN9090 and QN9030.
Mouser supplies the QN9090DK development kit, consisting of a carrier board, an M10 module, and an expansion board, as an evaluation platform. This kit includes an integrated programmer and a debugger, along with example applications that demonstrate standard GATT profiles in a complete software development kit (SDK).
The MCUXpresso SDK for QN is compatible with the latest toolchains of IAR and the NXP MCUXpresso IDE (Integrated Development Environment). The MCUXpresso software and tool suite provides a consistent software experience across all NXP devices and offers a path to add Bluetooth LE capabilities to existing designs on other NXP devices.
