Explanation focusing on projects under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Science and ICT


The Ministry of Science and ICT announced on the 15th that it will hold a briefing session on Digital New Deal projects under its jurisdiction starting at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, the 16th.

This briefing session was organized to explain the budget, specific project methods, and schedule included in the third supplementary budget bill announced on the 3rd of this month, and to allow companies interested in participating in the project to prepare.

At the briefing, the Ministry of Science and ICT plans to categorize the major projects of the Digital New Deal into four main areas—strengthening the DNA (Data, Network, AI) ecosystem, digital inclusion and K-cyber quarantine, fostering innovative talent, and developing non-face-to-face services and industries—and deliver the project details through a Q&A session with attendees.

Only pre-registered participants can attend the briefing session in person, while online participation is available via KakaoTV. Further details can be found on the National Information Society Agency website (www.nia.or.kr).

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Science and ICT plans to invest 832.4 billion won in the Digital New Deal project.
