On the 22nd, Schneider Electric announced an open API optimized for 'EcoStruxure IT Expert'.

'EcoStruxure IT Expert API' supports the integration of IT solution providers and end users' power and key infrastructure monitoring platform management systems.

Users can maintain local data stores or build custom applications to respond to changes.

The new API can integrate with third-party platforms. Users can monitor power or key infrastructure to prevent downtime of their facilities.

It also provides immediate, enhanced visibility by allowing you to access critical data infrastructure from your underlying systems and retrieve snapshots of current state to identify alerts.

Based on these alerts, inventory, sensor and location data, users can proactively manage incidents through risk planning.

It also features improved reporting capabilities, allowing you to move power and critical device data to existing screens or a new screen (dashboard) to add detailed metrics.

EcoStruxure IT Expert API is available to Schneider Electric business markets worldwide, excluding China.
