Three domestic design houses select new members
Arm IP utilization, quality audits, and engineering team support


The number of domestic design houses certified by Arm, a British semiconductor IP and IoT service company, has increased to five.

On the 29th, Arm announced that it had newly selected three domestic design houses for the 'Arm Approved Design Partner' program.

With this, the number of domestic members of Arm Authorized Design Partners has increased to five, with CoAsia, Gaonchips, and Hanatec added to the existing members ADTechnology and ASICLAND.

The Arm Authorized Design Partner Program is a partner support program focused on building a network of trusted design service providers. Through Arm IP accessibility linked to the "Arm Flexible Access" program, members of the Arm Authorized Design Partner Program gain access to a wide range of Arm IP and tools.

Until recently, the Arm Authorized Design Partner program allowed limited access to only basic IP such as the Cortex M0, M3 and M4 CPUs. However, with the announcement of the 'Arm Flexible Access Mainstream Package', approximately 75% of Cortex licenses released in the last two years, as well as other software tools and models, are now accessible.
