AR glasses that can use full apps rather than dedicated apps have started selling.

LG U+ announced on the 21st that it will begin selling its augmented reality (AR) glasses, "U+ Real Glass." U+ Real Glass can be purchased at all LG U+ stores nationwide and online at the U+ Shop .

U+ Real Glass is a wearable device that displays desired content through the lenses when worn like glasses. The lens is transparent, allowing users to see ahead while using the service, and the content screen can be freely arranged and resized in a 360-degree space surrounding the user.

The screen size can be expanded to over 100 inches, providing a highly immersive experience when watching sports, movies, concerts, and more. When used with smartphone mirroring, you can enjoy content from various OTT services like Netflix and YouTube.

The retail price is 699,000 won (including VAT), and it's available in one color: dark gray. With special offers, you can purchase the device at half price. If you sign up for a 5G Premier Plus plan (105,000 won per month, including VAT) or higher, you can select the "Smart Device Pack" for a 50% discount. If you pay for 36 installments, you'll pay an additional 11,525 won per month (including VAT).

The product, which will be shipped sequentially from August 28, includes ▲a frame that can be attached to lenses with a prescription ▲a lens cover that blocks the forward field of vision to provide an environment similar to a VR headset ▲various nose pads that fit the shape of the face, etc.

U+ Real Glass is available only to LG U+ 5G subscribers and is currently compatible with the Samsung Galaxy Note 20. The service will also be available on the LG Velvet in September, with plans to expand to the LG V50 and V50S.
