ADLINK announced on the 21st that it has launched the NEON-2000-JT2 AI smart camera series, which accelerates the adoption of machine vision in manufacturing sites.

Powered by the NVIDIA Jetson TX2 AI module, this smart camera series features an all-in-one design, a small footprint, and pre-installed vision software to reduce the complexity of AI machine vision development and integration.

The NEON-2000-JT2 series is suitable for increasing production efficiency in labor-intensive manufacturing industries such as food and beverage, consumer goods, and agriculture, where quality assurance and inspection are important.

Kevin Hsu, Senior Product Manager at ADLINK’s Smart Factory Business and Product Center, said, “The NEON-2000-JT2 series was developed to simplify AI machine vision development and integration, allowing customers to focus more on production efficiency.”

The NEON-2000-JT2 series, designed for ease of use, integrates a sensor and a GPU module. In addition, it includes a pre-installed set of deep learning software based on an FPGA-based DI/O design, and ready-to-use sample code for rapid vision application development.

Its safety has been proven by CE (European Certification) and the FCC (U.S. Federal Communications Commission), and verification regarding shock, vibration, and temperature has also been completed.

The NEON-2000-JT2 series is optimized for various AI machine vision applications, including product classification and defect inspection. ADLINK is currently accepting requests for a Proof of Concept (PoC).
