KITECH Smart Safety Living Lab
Officially joined the European Living Lab Network
Overseas customer verification and feedback can be incorporated


The Korea Institute of Industrial Technology (KITECH) announced on the 3rd that its Smart Safety Living Lab has officially joined the European Network of Living Labs (ENoLL).

N-ROL is a global network with over 400 member living labs operating worldwide, and to become an official member, one must undergo a screening process and receive final approval at the general assembly.

KITECH’s Smart Safety Living Lab is established and operated in two fields, life safety and industrial safety, depending on the target industry, and provides comprehensive support services ranging from business model development to user-centered demonstration and certification.

The Life Safety Living Lab in Hwaseong, Gyeonggi-do supports the demonstration of new products aimed at improving safety and health in daily life, while the Industrial Safety Living Lab in Ansan, Gyeonggi-do focuses on demonstrations related to the prevention, management, and response to workplace safety accidents.

KITECH stated, “This membership in N-ROL serves as an opportunity for the Smart Safety Living Lab to leap forward as a world-class living lab,” adding, “It will function as an industrial innovation platform to help small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and mid-sized companies enter the global market.”He stated that it is "expected to be."

In addition, they stated, “Through future collaboration with the Enroll network, it will be possible to conduct validation tests with overseas customers and incorporate feedback prior to new product launches,” adding that “it will be helpful for the overseas expansion of small and medium-sized enterprises.”
