Samsung Electronics signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Hanssem on the 4th to strengthen joint business.

Through this business agreement, the two companies agreed to pursue a wide range of mutual cooperation plans, including ▲ expanding remodeling business ▲ discovering joint projects to link with retail sales ▲ implementing smart home solutions.

First, the two companies have agreed to collaborate to target the rapidly growing remodeling market. They plan to actively expand their furniture-home appliance business by introducing packages that combine Hanssem's remodeling products with Samsung Electronics' Bespoke refrigerators and dishwashers, among other customized appliances.

Additionally, joint ventures leveraging each company's retail infrastructure will be strengthened. The two companies plan to explore diverse collaborative initiatives, including introducing Hanssem products in Samsung Digital Plaza and Samsung products in Hanssem Design Park as shop-in-shops, or jointly developing a complex interior and home appliance store.

We have also decided to enter the smart home solution business, which aims for a future-oriented living environment.
