IBM Security announced new features for 'Cloud Pak for Security' on the 19th. This feature is a data security solution that supports enterprises in detecting and responding to threats to critical data in hybrid cloud environments.

To integrate previously unconnected security technologies, IBM expanded Cloud Pak for Security by including new data sources, integration capabilities, and services to enable security operations teams to manage the entire threat lifecycle from a single console.

In addition, it will include six threat intelligence feeds, 25 pre-built links to IBM and third-party data sources, 165 case management integrations connected via advanced AI that prioritizes threats, and access to automated playbooks that streamline response actions for security teams.

Justin Youngblood, Vice President at IBM Security, stated, “With the addition of these new features, IBM has become the first in the industry to integrate external threat intelligence and threat management with data security and identity. This will help enterprises modernize their security operations and lay the foundation for a Zero Trust security strategy.”
