Trusted Firmware-M on the secure microcontroller,
Arm Mbed OS and Pelion IoT Platform Combined


Infineon Technologies announced on the 26th that it is providing an IoT lifecycle management solution.
By combining the PSoC 64 secure microcontroller with Trusted Firmware-M embedded security, Arm Mbed IoT OS, and the Arm Pelion IoT platform, customers can securely design, manage, and update IoT products without developing separate secure firmware. Pelion-Ready and Mbed OS-Enabled solutions achieve PSA Certification* Level 1, ensuring the highest level of security.

Additionally, the open-source software provides configurable components that enable the PSA Functional API and create a Secure Processing Environment (SPE) for Arm Cortex-M-based microcontrollers. IoT device manufacturers can easily achieve PSA certification through the PSoC 64 Root of Trust.

Pelion Device Management enables secure device management at every stage of the product lifecycle, from provisioning to decommissioning. It also supports a dual-core architecture that combines an Arm Cortex-M4 core for application execution and an Arm Cortex-M0+ core, a dedicated Root of Trust (RoT) security coprocessor.
