28 training modules translated into Korean

IBM announced on the 28th the launch of its "Open P-TECH" service in Korea. This service is a digital education platform available to anyone free of charge to cultivate new-collar talent tailored to the Digital New Deal.

The currently available Open P-Tech model leverages the existing public education model, P-Tech, and expands it from students and teachers to the general public, offering free access. Anyone seeking to become a future leader with not only basic knowledge of innovative technologies for the Fourth Industrial Revolution, such as cybersecurity, AI, and cloud computing, but also specialized skills like professional presentation skills, can sign up and receive training for free.

Open P-Tech currently offers over 100 training modules worldwide. Among them, 28 modules covering AI, cloud, cybersecurity, data science, IoT, and agile, as well as content on five specialized competencies—presentation, collaboration, interpersonal relationships, and problem solving—have been translated into Korean. Seoul New Collar School, Korea's first P-Tech school that opened last year, is also currently incorporating AI and data science courses into its curriculum.

Additionally, IBM launched P-Tech, an innovative public education model for workforce development, in 2011. Currently, 241 schools have been established in 28 countries, including Korea, to foster talent suitable for new-collar jobs and support the revitalization of local economies.
