Magna announced on the 28th that it will officially launch CLEARVIEW technology in 2022.
CLEARVIEW provides drivers with enhanced visibility using a unique combination of camera and mirror technologies. The CLEARVIEW rearview mirror features a frameless design and allows for electronic switching between a conventional rearview mirror and a customizable video display capable of showing up to three camera views.

The CLEARVIEW side mirror integrates a camera with a U.S.-compliant side-view mirror to provide a real-time view of the external environment from inside the vehicle. The camera is mounted at the very edge of the mirror to ensure maximum visibility for the driver and improves both visibility and safety. CLEARVIEW side mirrors also include safety and convenience features such as surround view cameras, blind zone indicators, automatic dimming glass, memory, electronic folding devices, and front and rear lights.
