STMicroelectronics Launches All-in-One Multi-Zone Direct ToF Module

STMicroelectronics (ST) on the 29th added the 64-zone device VL53L5 to its FlightSense ToF sensor portfolio.
The device consists of a 940nm VCSEL light source, an SoC sensor with an integrated VCSEL driver, a SPAD receiver array, a low-power 32-bit MCU core, and an accelerator running sophisticated firmware.
