PTC announced on the 30th that it plans to extend its strategic partnership with Rockwell Automation and move forward with early expansion.


Since forming a strategic partnership in 2018, the two companies have helped over 250 new clients achieve their digital transformation goals, and have agreed to further strengthen their partnership and extend it beyond 2023.

This agreement will maintain continuity in product sales and development and expand collaboration on PTC's product lifecycle management and SaaS offerings. This will streamline the commercialization process for comprehensive digital thread solutions that support the entire design, operation, maintenance, and lifecycle optimization process.

Additionally, PTC will provide Rockwell Automation's virtual machine simulation and testing software to its network of customers and partners. Through this collaboration, the two companies plan to strengthen customer support by sharing joint resources, technologies, industry expertise, and market presence through 2023 and beyond.

The core joint offering of both companies, 'FactoryTalk Innovation Suite', provides a connected enterprise environment by integrating IIoT, edge-to-cloud analytics, manufacturing execution system, and augmented reality.
