Dell Technologies Korea announced that it will hold its annual event, 'Dell Technologies Forum 2020,' online on the 17th to share the latest technologies and industry trends for accelerating digital innovation.
This year's forum will present key initiatives in preparation for the new normal through live lectures and on-demand sessions in a virtual news studio.
This year's forum will begin with welcoming remarks from Chairman Michael Dell, followed by keynote speeches from Kim Kyung-jin, President of Korea, John Rose, Chief Technology Officer, and Angus Hagerty, President of International Markets. Invited as an external speaker, former professional golfer Se-ri Pak, CEO of Baz International, will present on how to navigate a rapidly changing world.
The live breakout sessions following the keynote speech will be divided into three tracks: flexible IT, digital workplace, and innovation through data, with a total of nine sessions. The Flexible IT track covers ▲ hyperconverged infrastructure trends ▲ workload-optimized server strategies ▲ Dell Technologies cloud innovation.
The Digital Workplace track provides information on ▲unified workspaces that transform both users and IT, ▲intelligent PCs for enhanced productivity, and ▲comprehensive remote work strategies that strengthen business capabilities.
The Innovation Through Data track will cover: ▲Data protection in the multi-cloud era ▲Data storage that enables innovation based on insight ▲Unlocking the limitless potential of unstructured data.
After the live session, you can choose to watch on-demand videos across three tracks on topics including data protection, cybersecurity, network fabric, VMware-based cloud migration, remote PC management, endpoint security, artificial intelligence, edge computing, and data management.
Kim Kyung-jin, President and CEO of Dell Technologies Korea, explained, “Digital innovation is at the center of overcoming the pandemic and the survival issue thereafter.” He added, “Through this event, we hope to share Dell Technologies’ achievements and vision in fulfilling its social responsibility as well as strategies for gaining insight in a data-centric business environment.”
