Infineon Named a Dow Jones Sustainable Company for 11th Consecutive Year

Infineon Technologies announced on the 18th that it has been included in the Dow Jones Sustainability World Index and the Dow Jones Sustainability Europe Index for the 11th consecutive year.

“We are proud to be recognized as one of the world’s most sustainable companies,” said Dr. Sven Schneider, Infineon’s CFO. “Earlier this year, Infineon committed to CO2 neutrality by 2030 and is thus taking a strategic step towards climate protection.”
He emphasized that “forward-looking management, environmentally friendly operations and contributions to society are essential prerequisites for Infineon’s long-term success.”
The Dow Jones Sustainability Index is published by RobecoSAM, an investment firm, and selects companies with outstanding sustainability across 61 industries based on economic, environmental, and social performance.
