Keysight Unveils Five New PathWave Software Products
Measurement using cloud computing resources

Engineers who design and test electronic devices face the challenge of overcoming the complexities of data crunching, which can take weeks or months, and accelerating time-to-market for their products.

Keysight Technologies announced on the 30th that it has expanded its existing PathWave software product line to five software solutions.

The new PathWave solution enables engineers to remove compute limitations from their workflows through cloud processing clusters, reducing project risk while improving design and device reliability. Additionally, it supports fast and efficient data processing, sharing, and analysis at all stages of product development.

PathWave ADS Software 2021 / PathWave ADS (Advanced Design System) 2021 Software, which also provides design cloud simulation services, helps reduce simulation times, increase test coverage, and provide access to scalable hardware resources in the cloud.

This allows engineers to perform computationally intensive electromagnetic simulations at scale, using on-premises clusters or scalable cloud hardware, to easily validate high-performance products.

PCIe 5.0 Transmitter Compliance Test Software / System test engineers characterizing compliance standards for mobile and computer chipsets need to be able to perform compliance testing quickly without incurring additional hardware purchase costs.

The 'PCIe 5.0 Transmitter Compliance Test Software', which adopts a new architecture, can be seamlessly integrated into the test automation workflow along with test automation and data analysis software, and can also be separated.

The software allows system test engineers to accelerate transmitter compliance testing by separating cloud data processing from physical measurements, and to run signal acquisition and measurements in parallel rather than serially, reducing overall test times.

PathWave Test Automation Software / Test engineers who need to use multiple instruments often struggle with the programming required to connect them. PathWave Test Automation Software uses resource arbitration and timing analysis tools to easily optimize multiple instrument settings and integrate them into existing automated system workflows.

PathWave Measurement Analytics / PathWave Measurement Analytics software provides a powerful user interface for data visualization and analysis. It captures and stores test data in real-time, and can import data in various formats from a variety of sources.

You can also integrate data analysis into your testing process using open application program interfaces (APIs). Design Verification Test (DVT) and production engineers can visualize and analyze measurement data in the cloud without creating spreadsheets.

PathWave Manufacturing Analytics / PathWave Manufacturing Analytics software, which helps improve product quality and manufacturing operations, is Keysight's advanced big data analytics platform designed to address Industry 4.0. Now, Keysight has partnered with Kx to launch the Workcell Edition for the latest smart factory.

Customers can seamlessly connect to, collect, and transform test data from test systems in real time, automating complex workflows to increase productivity. Furthermore, they can leverage proven machine learning models to analyze data and gain valuable insights.

Meanwhile, Keysight will launch five new PathWave software solutions that further enhance the ability to leverage cloud processing to remove computing limitations throughout the design process.
