SEMICON Korea 2021 to be held online for ten days
Composed of approximately 20 programs, including technology trends by process
Available on-demand, unlimited viewing within the period


SEMICON Korea 2021, which presents the semiconductor industry's cutting-edge technology roadmap, will be held as an online conference instead of an on-site exhibition for ten days from Wednesday, February 3rd to Friday, February 12th.

The organizer, the Semiconductor Equipment and Materials International (SEMI), has decided not to hold an on-site exhibition, following last year's decision, due to the increased level of social distancing measures imposed due to the spread of COVID-19.

The conference, themed 'Toward the Hyper-Connected World,' consists of approximately 20 programs with approximately 120 speakers from the global semiconductor ecosystem.

Participants will be able to learn about semiconductor technology in the hyper-connected era through conferences on ▲technology trends by semiconductor process ▲intelligent manufacturing ▲AI ▲design automation ▲MEMS and sensors.

The 'Market Trend Forum', which provides an outlook on the semiconductor industry, will also be held, and the 'Sustainable Manufacturing Forum' on the environment and safety will be held for the first time.

Advance into the semiconductor industryA "Talent Development Program" for college students aspiring to pursue a career in semiconductors will also be held online. "Meet the Experts!", a mentoring program featuring current engineers sharing their experiences in the semiconductor industry and tips for career development, will be held online on Friday, February 5th.

Additionally, the "Women-in-Technology" program, which promotes DEI (Diversity, Empathy, Inclusion) within the semiconductor industry, will be held. Female leaders from SK Telecom, LG Chem, Lam Research, KLA, and Merck will participate in the program to share DEI insights.

All online conferences for SEMICON Korea 2021 are available through the All-In Pass. With the exception of live keynotes and talent development programs, all conference sessions will be available on-demand for ten days, allowing anyone to participate on their PC or mobile device, regardless of time or location.
