The Ministry of SMEs and Startups (Minister Kwon Chil-seung) will begin fostering startups in the information and communications technology (ICT) sector in partnership with global companies such as Google, Nvidia, and Microsoft.

The Ministry of SMEs and Startups is recruiting companies wishing to participate in the 'Global Corporate Collaboration Program (1st)' from April 12 to April 30.

The 'Global Enterprise Collaboration Program' is a startup support program in which the government and global companies collaborate to support the growth of startups and provide opportunities to enter overseas markets.

This first recruitment announcement consists of three programs: △Changgu Program (Google Play Collaboration), △Enup Program (NVIDIA Collaboration), and △Majung Program (Microsoft Collaboration), and will support a total of 140 startup companies.

Startups wishing to participate can select and apply for the business they wish to collaborate with among the programs.

Selected startups will receive up to 300 million won in commercialization funds from the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and a growth support package (market development, investment attraction, training, consulting, etc.) utilizing the infrastructure of global companies.

Additionally, the program will be reformed to allow more startups to apply by unifying the business years of startups eligible for the program from last year, which was limited to initial or leap forward businesses, to 7 years or less starting this year.

If you look at the details, it is a 'window program' with Google Play.RAM' helps startups in the mobile service sector grow by providing marketing support for sales expansion and overseas market entry, growth support seminars, one-on-one technology and management consulting, and hosting demo days.

The 'Enup Program' with NVIDIA fosters startups in the AI field by providing technical training and consulting, support for using cloud services, and participation in the company's global events.

Lastly, the 'Welcome Program' with Microsoft will support startups in the cloud-based field by providing online and offline technical training and consulting, support for using Azure, the company's cloud service, and opportunities for venture capital (VC) networking.

Startups wishing to participate in the Global Enterprise Collaboration Program (1st round) can apply online through the K-Startup Startup Support Portal (www.k-startup.go.kr) from April 12 to April 30 at 6:00 PM.

More detailed information can be found in the announcement on the 'K-Startup Entrepreneurship Support Portal' starting April 1st, and the business briefing session is scheduled to be held online in mid-April.
