A forum has been set up to forecast the semiconductor market in 2021 and examine the status of next-generation semiconductor development.

e4ds news will host the 'e4ds Semiconductor Technology Conference 2021 Spring' online on April 28th at 9:30 AM.

This seminar was designed to examine the current state of the semiconductor market, triggered by the recent shortage of automotive semiconductors, and to examine the new challenges facing the domestic semiconductor industry due to aggressive semiconductor investment by major countries such as the United States, China, and Europe.

Additionally, there will be a forum to examine the government's recent policy to foster next-generation semiconductors, along with trends in gallium nitride system semiconductor technology and automotive semiconductor development.

Participants in this seminar include Ki-Hyeon Ahn, Secretary General of the Korea Semiconductor Industry Association, who will present on “Semiconductor Industry Trends and Directions for Fostering the Semiconductor Industry,” and Hyun-Woo Do, Research Fellow at NH Investment & Securities, who will present on “Semiconductor Supply and Demand Status and 2021 Semiconductor Market Outlook.”

Next, PL Lee Hyeong-seok of the Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute will present on ‘Trends in Gallium Nitride (GaN) Power Semiconductor Technology’, and Center Director Yeon Gyu-bong of the Korea Automotive Research Institute will present on ‘Trends in Automotive Semiconductor Technology Development’.will be announced.
