Huawei Korea is showcasing the performance of its Always-On Storage and is targeting domestic consumers who require powerful IT systems that integrate various types of services.

Huawei Korea participated in the 'World IT Show 2021' held at COEX in Samseong-dong, Seoul from April 21 to 23.

At this exhibition, Huawei unveiled its enterprise-grade high-end all-flash storage, OceanStor Dorado.

Oceansto Dorado is a product widely used in industries such as finance, manufacturing, and healthcare, ideal for customers requiring a powerful IT system that integrates various types of services for 'always-on' business support.

The Oceansto Dorado 5000/6000 is a mid-range storage product that utilizes FlashLink® intelligent algorithms and End-to-End (E2E) NVMe architecture to deliver 30% higher performance than the previous generation with very low latency of 0.05 ms. Intelligent algorithm applications embedded in the storage system enable smarter storage operation, and the stable 5-Layer design ensures business continuity.

Oceansto Dorado 5000/6000 is optimized for scenarios such as OLTP/OLAP databases, server virtualization, VDI, and resource integration in various fields including finance, government, healthcare, education, energy, and manufacturing.

The Oceansto Dorado 3000 is an entry-level storage product that delivers 50% higher performance than the previous generation. Its AA architecture and simple GUI design make O&M (Operation & Maintenance) easier.

The Oceanstorage Dorado 3000 is optimized for scenarios such as virtualization, office operations, and branch office management for small and medium-sized enterprises in various fields including government, healthcare, education, energy, and manufacturing. The storage system is an ideal product for small and medium-sized IT applications that provide cost-effective services.

A Huawei Korea official stated, “OceanSto Dorado is optimized for various scenarios in fields such as finance, education, energy, and manufacturing, including batch transaction processing, analytics, databases, server virtualization, desktop virtualization, and resource consolidation,” adding that it is “the optimal product for maximizing corporate profits.”

Meanwhile, at this exhibition, Huawei Korea showcased Lampsite and Liquid-OTN, which support the use of high-quality 5G services, in addition to Oceansto Dorado. In addition, solutions for smart manufacturing, smart dining, and smart healthcare were also introduced.

In addition, Huawei Korea received a special award at this exhibition in recognition of its contributions to promoting ICT exchange and cooperation between Korea and China, and furthermore globally.
