'Creo GDX' for AI-based generative design
AR productivity tool 'Vuforia Expert Capture' added


PTC announced on the 27th that it is expanding the provision of Software as a Service features by adding two new products to its SaaS platform, PTC Atlas™.

PTC has expanded its portfolio of SaaS applications and production-ready solutions by adding Vuforia Expert Capture™ and Creo® Generative Design Extension (Creo GDX) to the PTC Atlas platform, alongside the existing Onshape®.

Andrew Kimpton, Vice President of Development at PTC Atlas, explained, “The new Vuforia and Creo applications are based on the modern multi-tenant Atlas architecture, ensuring innovative scalability in both operational and technical aspects,” adding, “This gives the PTC portfolio SaaS collaboration capabilities.”

Mike Campbell, Head of PTC Augmented Reality “With Atlas, Vuforia users can access a powerful, scalable feature set that can be deployed across the entire enterprise environment,” said Senior Vice President Gam. “Without Atlas, tasks such as version control, content management, and approval workflows would take years.”

He added, “Atlas will make these offerings easier to improve, and we look forward to presenting a roadmap of Atlas’s benefits in the near future.”

Creo GDX provides AI-based generative design capabilities to the CAD market. Brian Thompson, General Manager and Vice President of PTC CAD, stated, “The integration of the atlas-based GDX with the Creo CAD environment enables the flexible utilization of computing resources required for AI-based generative design.”

Meanwhile, PTC Korea plans to collaborate with Platinum Partners Digitech and E3PS and authorized domestic distributor Dimoa to supply IoT, AR, CAD, and PLM solutions with diverse functions to the market at a faster pace than the industry standard time-to-market.
