Vertiv Unveils Improved 3-Phase UPS with Minimal Installation Space Constraints

Vertiv announced on the 13th that it is launching the 'Vertiv™ Liebert® EXM2', a 3-phase single uninterruptible power supply (UPS) designed for a wide range of applications including railways, healthcare, light industry, commercial offices, and medium-sized data centers.

The Vertiv Libert EXM2 3-phase single UPS provides up to 97% double conversion efficiency. It offers power capacities from 100 to 250 kVA and has minimal installation space constraints. Additionally, it supports three machine learning-based operating modes to reduce operating costs and minimize energy consumption, along with intelligent parallelization features that optimize performance under partial load for cost savings.
When operating in dynamic online (VI) mode, efficiency is improved up to 98.8%. It ensures fast output switching performance and reliability, and through its internal modular fault-tolerant design, it provides safe, easy, and fast installation and service, reducing average repair time and maximizing availability.
The Libert EXM2 UPS can use lithium-ion batteries (LIB) and can withstand temperatures up to 50°C, minimizing cooling and overall energy consumption. It also provides advanced monitoring, management, and diagnostic functions with a 9-inch touchscreen panel that supports various security options.
Intelligent control and communication functions are compatible with Vertiv™ LIFE™ services, Liebert® Nform, SiteScan™ and Trellis™ platform infrastructure monitoring software, as well as third-party battery management systems (BMS) and data center infrastructure management (DCIM) systems.
The new UPS replaces Vertiv’s Libert EXM and NXC models.
