'MATLAB Expo 2021' to Share AI Application Achievements to be Held

Introduction to MATLAB and Simulink features through a demo
MathWorks Korea announced that it will hold 'MATLAB EXPO 2021 Korea' online on Wednesday, May 26. Every year, MATLAB EXPO brings together approximately 1,000 engineers, scientists, and researchers from various industries, academia, and research institutions to showcase R&D achievements, technological trends, and prospects utilizing MathWorks solutions.
The themes of this event are four areas: AI applications and success stories, the expansion of data science and AI, 5G and radar, and software development using model-based design. Approximately 20 sessions are scheduled to present case studies on the adoption of new features of MATLAB® and Simulink® in major industries. Detailed agendas for the event and information on registration can be found on the official MATLAB Expo 2021 website.
Kim Hyung-joon, President of the Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute (ETRI), will deliver a keynote speech on the topic of "Current Status and Prospects of ICT Convergence Technology in the AI Era" and discuss the social changes that ICT technology will bring about.
Next, Richard Rovner, Vice President of MathWorks, will share agile digital transformation know-how along with projects to end COVID-19 and use cases of MATLAB and Simulink in a speech titled 'Scientists and Engineers Save the World'.
MathWorks Product Marketing Manager Kevin Cohan and MathWorks Simulink Product Lead Ed Marquez introduce new features of MATLAB and Simulink that support innovative R&D and efficient software development across various industries.
Experts from MathWorks Korea and corporate clients such as Hyundai Motor, LG Energy Solution, and Mando will present across four domain-specific sessions. Corporate clients will share success stories demonstrating how they improved processes and shortened model development and validation times by adopting MathWorks solutions. Through sessions on 'Explainable AI,' 'Autonomous Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs),' and 'Predictive Health Management,' MathWorks Korea technical experts will explain the core technologies, implementation methods, and MathWorks solution-based workflows required to realize cutting-edge AI in the industry.

MATLAB/Simulink R2021a Announced with Enhanced Communication Verification Features
매스웍스가 매트랩(MATLAB)과 시뮬링크(Simulink) 제품군의 릴리스 2021a를 발표했다. 이번 업데이트를 통해 수백 개의 기능이 추가되거나 개선되었다. 매트랩에서는 라이브 스크립트의 동적 제어, 코드 작성 없이 라이브 스크립트에 플롯 추가 등이 가능해졌고, 시뮬링크에선 C 코드를 재사용 가능한 시뮬링크 라이브러리로 가져와서 시뮬레이션 속도를 높일 수 있게 됐다.
