KETI-Chemtronics, C-ITS and V2X fields
Cooperation in wireless charging material technology for mobile devices


On the 8th, the Korea Electronics Technology Institute (KETI) signed a business agreement with Chemtronics for the development of core material technologies in the fields of V2X (Vehicle to Everything) technology and wireless charging.

KETI possesses autonomous driving solutions such as V2X communication and object recognition, as well as ICT and materials-based technologies such as IoT, AI, and wireless charging materials. Chemtronics specializes in materials components and chemical materials used in home appliances, mobile phones, automobiles, semiconductors, and displays.

Both parties plan to develop autonomous cooperative driving technology by establishing a demonstration environment for autonomous driving based on their respective unique technologies and infrastructure, and to discover new business models in the field of wireless charging material technology for mobile devices.

KETI President Kim Young-sam said, “This agreement will allow KETI’s leading technologies to be integrated with Chemtronics’ experience and technological prowess,” and added, “This will contribute to enhancing user experience and strengthening industrial competitiveness in the future automobile era.”
