Seoul Semiconductor recorded its highest quarterly sales ever in the second quarter of 2021, driven by balanced growth across all business divisions, including a doubling of the AM (Automotive) division.

Seoul Semiconductor, a specialized semiconductor company, announced on the 7th that it recorded consolidated sales of KRW 335 billion in the second quarter of 2021, a 24.8% increase year-over-year. This marks the company's highest quarterly sales ever.

Seoul Semiconductor achieved even growth across all business divisions, including IT (backlight), LT (general lighting), and AM (automotive), in the second quarter, following the first quarter.

In particular, the AM division led the second quarter performance, growing nearly twice compared to the same period last year.

Detailed analysis of sales and profit and loss, as well as the third quarter sales outlook, will be disclosed in detail through a public announcement at the end of July.

“Considering current customer orders and other factors, we are confident that we will once again set a new record for quarterly sales in the third quarter, and we are embarking on a new journey as we announced at the beginning of the year,” said an IR executive at Seoul Semiconductor.
