The new cifX M3042100BM opens up the possibility of using a wide variety of real-time Ethernet and fieldbus protocols by allowing the integration of communication interfaces into automation devices via an M.2 socket.

Hilscher's new M.2 cards are particularly suitable for space-constrained applications such as tablets, touch panels or slim Box-IPCs, as well as highly specialized equipment such as optical inspection systems that must be integrated into automation networks.

This card can be quickly changed and adjusted according to market conditions and requirements through Loadable Firmware of various protocols, allowing users to connect equipment and devices with various communication standards.

Additionally, M.2 cards come with numerous drivers for the most common operating systems, in addition to the most widely used protocols.
