When building smart factory AI systems, it's common to share manufacturing process data documents with clients and partners, or collaborate on projects like government-funded project proposals. With the recent strengthening of data asset security, clients are increasingly demanding a certain level of security, making secure collaboration a key challenge.

On the 25th, Watch announced that it will provide the cloud-based external collaboration platform, ‘Wrapsody eCo Cloud’ service, to smart factory company Impix.

Impix adopted Rhapsody Echo Cloud to enhance collaboration convenience, maintain document security, and manage core corporate data assets contained in various documents.

Watch's Rhapsody Echo Cloud is a cloud-based service that provides "Wrapsody Echo," an external collaboration platform that offers document sharing, collaboration, version control, security, and video conferencing capabilities all in one place. Based on document virtualization technology, it synchronizes documents with the latest version upon viewing, ensuring that previously shared files are always up-to-date. This not only improves the convenience of version management, but also improves the work efficiency of collaborating participants.

Even in diverse work environments, including remote work, documents can be edited, stored, and distributed in encrypted form, maintaining a consistent level of security. Permissions can be changed and documents discarded even after delivery. Even if leaked, the encrypted document prevents unauthorized access. Unlike other tools, it provides a document- and workgroup-based collaboration environment, enhancing the convenience of document-centric collaboration, such as proposal writing.
