Introduction of global security control solutions and services


IBM Korea announced on the 1st that it has signed a strategic security partnership with Doosan Digital Innovation to operate a global security control center and provide security consulting and services.

IBM will provide Doosan with global, integrated security solutions and services encompassing technology, processes, security intelligence, resources, evaluation metrics, and reporting to help the company proactively, quickly, and flexibly respond to the increasingly complex threat environment.

Under this agreement, IBM will build and expand Doosan Digital Innovation's global security operations center, providing operational technology capabilities including IBM X-Force Threat Management (XFTM) program, expert personnel, processes, and governance. Furthermore, the introduction of Cloud Pak for Security will modernize and automate the center's processes.

This will provide integrated security capabilities for diverse hybrid multi-cloud enterprise environments and secure security visibility for cloud migration accompanying digital transformation. Additionally, the company will provide expert consulting, security intelligence, and management services, including cybersecurity designers and industry experts in the manufacturing sector who understand Doosan's global industrial environment and security requirements.

The Global Security Control Center program, which will be provided to Doosan Digital Innovation, is a service that brings together IBM's accumulated experience in building security control centers for clients across various industries around the world and monitoring and managing over 150 billion events per day in over 130 countries.

It is based on the advanced IBM X-Force Threat Management (XFTM) solution, which can be flexibly applied to customer environments. This service monitors and reports on threats occurring globally. It includes an AI- and machine learning-based unified security operations and event management (SIEM) platform, process enhancements through SOAR (Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response), proactive security intelligence provided by security intelligence analysts, endpoint detection and response (EDR) management, incident response, maintenance services, and consulting.
