KLA announced that it has appointed Rollin Kocher as the new Country Manager for Korea.


Country Manager Rollin Kocher plans to focus on expanding KLA's business in Korea, increasing customer sales and support, and strengthening ESG. His official inauguration is scheduled for the end of October.

Newly appointed Country Manager Rollin Kocher is an expert with over 30 years of experience in the semiconductor equipment industry, having accumulated extensive experience and achievements across various roles including technology, sales, business development, and operations. He spent 17 years at KLA—more than half of his career—serving as an Application Engineer, Account Manager, Director of Business Development, and Senior Director of Sales. Notably, during his final two years, he oversaw KLA Korea's Samsung business, contributing to revenue growth and business expansion. Prior to his appointment as Country Manager of KLA Korea, he served as Senior Vice President of Global Operations at Onto Innovation, a U.S.-based specialist in semiconductor testing equipment and solutions. Before that, he served as Senior Vice President at Nanometrics, where he oversaw sales, applications, and business units.

General Manager Rollin Kocher received a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of North Texas and an Associate of Science degree in Laser Electro-Optical Technology from Texas Tech University Waco (TSTC Waco), and completed an executive finance education course at Harvard Business School.
