Training of core motor development personnel for e-mobility and UAM
Collaborative support from software to equipment

Ansys Korea has signed an industry-academic cooperation agreement with Halla University to foster talent in the smart mobility field.

Ansys Korea, a domestic simulation software provider, signed an industry-academic cooperation agreement with Halla University (President Eung-Kwon Kim) located in Wonju, Gangwon Province, on the 4th for joint research and development and training of personnel in the mobility field.

This collaboration aims to establish a training center for design and simulation training in the motor field of electric vehicles and UAM, which are key components of the e-mobility industry, and to train more than 400 motor design experts annually.

To this end, the two organizations are expected to engage in various forms of cooperation, including joint research and development of mobility technologies and devices, sharing and cooperation of information necessary for mobility technology development testing and research, personnel exchange for education and training, and joint use and support of facilities and equipment.

However, due to the geographical distance from Halla University, which is located in Wonju, it is known that internal discussions are currently underway as to whether the annual production of 400 human resources will be centered on nearby universities or whether human resource development will be through collaboration between ANSYS and Halla University. An ANSYS official also reported that specific software and equipment support is also being internally coordinated.
