Schneider has launched a new SCADA solution for remote management and control of factory equipment, Blue OpenStudio (hereinafter BOS).

The explanation is that, going beyond the transmission and processing of IT and OT information data, which is the main focus of existing smart factory solutions, convenience for actual users has been secured by applying various user-centric operational matters to the IT and OT fields.
BOS provides basic OPC interfaces such as MQTT and OPC UA/DA to support animation, email, local recipe management, and FDA Part 11 compliant functions, and supports upper-level connections to DB by connecting to the upper network based on MQTT.

Schneider also stated that it supports more than 300 communication drivers, including Modbus and Profibus, which are standard protocols for communication between devices in the field.

Other BOSIt was proposed to combine it with Schneider Electric’s industrial PC, the “Pro-face PS6000,” which is compatible with it, and it was stated that this enables the rapid and easy implementation of SCADA.
The cloud-based "EcoStruxure Secure Connect Advisor," which supports field database processing and analysis interface operations—the foundation of smart factory operation analysis, a core element of modern manufacturing—is also proposed as an eco-solution that can enhance the utilization of BOS.

Schneider announced an integrated solution that includes "BOS," an operating interface in the user's hand, "Proface," an industrial PC that ensures optimal efficient interoperability, and a cloud service that complies with the international standard IEC62443 security criteria, stating that this can reduce the time spent on actual maintenance by 25% and shorten development time by 30%.

Schneider Electric Korea has continued its steady growth since 2009, when the issue of industrial automation began, and is generating 230 billion won in industrial sector sales as of 2019.
